182 Issues
It's time to move on.
After 15 years, I’ll be leaving Premier Guitar at the end of the month.
It’s time for me to move on, and I’m happy to say I’ll be leaving on the best possible terms. PG has been an incredible place to work, and I can’t thank them enough for letting me work on the last 182 (!) issues.
Starting in June, I will be joining the Dreamcatcher Events team. I’ve been fortunate enough to teach at three DCE camps (Satriani, Petrucci, and Wong), and they are easily the best music events around. The level of community and camaraderie is unmatched. If you want to dive in and spend five days completely immersed among some of your musical heroes—check them out.
I’ll still have a small foot in the PG camp. I’m going to stay on and keep working on their podcasts—namely 100 Guitarists and Wong Notes. (Shred with Shifty will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future.)
Back in 2010, I stopped writing on my own website to focus more on PG. Since writing won’t be core to my new job, I wanted a place to share occasional thoughts, reviews, and whatever else I can think up. True Bypass is that place for me. It’s always been in the back of my mind, and I’m happy to finally get it up and running. If you want to hear more from me, just click the button below.
(P.S. I also bought a NOTADÜMBLË—mainly just for the clean channel.)

Congrats and best of luck in your new ventures. Dreamcatchers does amazing work. Thanks for recommending me. Let's find some ways to collaborate.
Good luck! How can we reach you for future podcasts?
